Warm hospitality, beautiful lodgings, great food, and a feeling of peace and tranquility are all found here. Scooter, the resident four legged greeter, is a rock star! We've been twice and will return.
One of the best B&B I have ever had the pleasure to visit. The innkeepers were very hospitable and a pleasure to share conversation with. The rooms were decorated well and very clean. I rank this B&B as the best!

Outstanding B&B located in the Valle Crucis area in the NC mountains. Exceptional innkeepers (Don and Debbie) who makes you feel right at home and part of their family. The amenities are really outstanding with a hearty 9 AM breakfast to 9 PM desserts to close out the day. Plenty of space to find a quiet area to read or a large family room to meet and converse with other guests. Rooms are exceptional, all with a theme. We had the Deer, Moose and Bear room. Great. Large and long porch with views, two swings, rocking chairs, and a hammock chair. Truly a 5-star B&B and I highly recommend Mountainside B&B for your stay in this area.
Debbie and Don were fantastic - they provided a wonderful dessert at night and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The rooms were great as well and there were plenty of complementary snacks and drinks available. Hope to come back again soon!
