Went up to get our Christmas tree this weekend and decided to go to Banner Elk! Only hotel room available that allowed dogs was the Best Western. I hadn't stayed in a Best Western in a long time.
Staff was very friendly, answered questions. Especially impressed with help at breakfast. I need to take a plate to sick husband, and they told me how to fix it up. Breakfast manager was really friendly. A very good, comfortable stay!
The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was basic but decent. The beds are somewhat lumpy and the door doesn't seal completely. But, location was great for our ski trip and very economical. Several restaurants nearby.
One of the best hotels that we have stayed at because of the location, excellent staff, ambiance, pool, and breakfast. And, we have been to a lot of hotels nationwide. The best breakfast you will have at any hotel. The best and most dedicated breakfast Manager. All of the staff is friendly and dedicated. It is so relaxing there, with the heated pool and grounds and area. It reminds me of a lovely B&B in England. Of course, it would be nice if they upgraded the rooms, but everything else is fantastic. Great place, wonderful staff, cozy rooms, good breakfast choices, fantastic coffee! Stayed on a whim, all local places closed for the season or wouldn't answer the phone. Got two adjoining rooms and loved our stay. Nice beds, very comfortable. Excellent views. Would stay again. Very clean and accommodating.
It was an amazing experience! Great staff, great location, comfy rooms, allowed my dogs and didn't charge us much for brining them! I will definitely stay in this hotel again!
