Save yourself $6 and stomach sickness. Hands down.. The WORST buffet I have EVER had. The food isn't the only thing nasty.. The bathroom is HORRENDOUS. The food is cold, old, and tasteless and the people that work there don't seem to care. NEVER AGAIN.
I went here for a Christmas lunch and they were having a buffet special. Super cheap, and the food was very good! I often get sick and bloated, as most people do after pigging out on Chinese food, and that didn't happen after eating here so I was pleasantly surprised! All the staff were very kind and helpful. I thought it was nice to see all these different people gathered inside on Christmas afternoon for lunch, it had such a homey feel to it! I went here twice on my short trip, and each time was great.
Only ordered take-out. Doesn't seem like a dine-in kind of place. Food wasn't decent for the price.
Ordered General Tso chicken combo takeout. Staff was friendly, food was ready in 10 min. We drove 25 min back to our rental and the food was still so hot I burned my mouth. After I allowed it to cool down, it was a satisfying meal.
One thing I would add, it is waayyy too much food for one person. I wished we had split a combo meal instead of ordering two.
Just drove from Boone and it was well worth it! Food and price was very good for the High Country, their beef with veggies was delish, and had surprisingly good egg rolls. It is a small place and could use a revamp, but the food and service speak for themselves. Will come back.
