This is a fun place to visit! It is in a quiet community and isn't too far off main roads. Like any other Mast General Store, you can purchase clotting and outdoor goods. There is an excellent candy section where you can fill up buckets with whatever you like and pay by weight.
I visit Boone, NC almost once a year or more.. depending... Anyways I love the different "Mast General Stores". I usually try to go to at least one of them. Great local store. Different variety of candies is the best part! Also they have great gifts and old fashioned games and toys from the "Old Days". I love to go in and see what they have every-time I get a kick out of all the different toys I used to remember as a kid!
Me and my cousins went to the Mast Store Annex to get candy. They have candy and drinks. They have chocolate, chewing gum, Skittles, and some sour candy. They have Sprite, Coke, water, Powerade, and Gatorade. The candy was 7.99 a pound. The service was great and the staff were very nice and the candy was good. They also sell shirts and toys. I will probably go to the Mast Store Annex again when I go back to North Carolina.
This is a great store. Lots of items that take you back into your childhood days. A must see and visit.
The original store. It embodies old general store! It's charming and the employees are so nice and helpful. If you happen to find yourself in Valle Crucis, check it out!
