Seated promptly, and waited and waited for waitress too get our drink order. Waitress NEVER came over, we waited 20 minutes. We left and went to peddling pig!
Oh my goodness! The Painted Fish was a wonderful treat while in Banner Elk! I highly recommend it. It offers a fabulous menu and bar menu. I had the soup du jour, which was gingered mussels with chickpeas. Sounds weird but absolutely delicious. One of my friends tasted a bite of mine and immediately ordered a cup for herself. I also had 1/2 portion of the painted salad. Craft beers, wine and cocktails are also served.
If you're looking for really good food especially fish this is your place the desserts are wonderful and they do have cocktails I highly recommend this place. My wife said the pork chop was awesome
Great food great service. fine dining in a casual atmosphere. We had the sesame tuna, filet mignon, pecan trout and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious.
We've always had friendly, quick service and great food here. Pricing is a bit out of touch, but seems consistent with other dining fare in this area.
