Terrible!! The pre-dug buckets had nothing to do with local stones and feel staged (only option available). Never leave stoves to cut - once we received something over a month later, and only shipped after initiating acredit card dispute, did we receive some rock - we are highly suspect of them as they don't seem to have anything to do with what we left.
We had fun "mining". We actually got some really nice size stuff! I will have a few of them cut for jewelry. The young woman that helped us was very knowledgeable and helpful, she even identfird crystals I had with me.
This place is incredible and a MUST go for the whole family. Our fingers wanted to fall off but it was so much fun, so exciting, that we duked it out and went home with three bags filled with beautiful gem stones.
A special memory you and your family will not forget!
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Found a decent amount of gems out of the 5 gallon bucket we bought. For the size of bucket it was one of the best prices around. The kids had a wonderful time.
I've had better mining experiences in NC. This place is really rustic. The staff was nice and helpful. We paid for large buckets and got nothing but tiny rocks. I prefer Dan Nicholas.
